Masquerade arc

Session 60

At the masquerade, he ran into Asher Greymore (Lark), who he stared at in recognition. Behind him was h is mother, so Lark told him not to keep her waiting, introducing himself by his frake name, to which Finas shook his hand. He was then talking with Helena until they overheard Sindri and Vermillion as they were trying to spread rumors, to which she paused her conversation to listen in. She overheard them talk about Goldthrone and Craydon, the undead attack, the Midnight Black, Suude, and their presence in Yarrin. Sindri then mentioned Gina Jerol, a popular tavern keeper and how odd she was acting, as well as how she was talking about the Clove family not being able to have children. He called Gina disrespectful for that, though the Finas and Helena seemed pissed about this last mention and gravitated away as they began to whisper. Nerio then watched as Finas went into the VIP section, mentioning the MB to someone, who then went up to Benedict and Isa Knight, to which Benedict looked at Vermillion and Sindri. Then someone whispered it to Alistair, the rumors quickly spreading. He was seated for dinner with his mother, Lark, and Galdor. Lark pulled Helena's chair for her as Finas watched his every move. Maya caused Lark's heart to briefly stop as he passed out for a moment. 

Session 61

He questioned if Lark had lobster before, to which Lark called out the interrogation and commented on the party for the archduke's brother. Finas replied, saying he wanted to talk later, though his mother reminded him to focus on finding a woman. 

Session 62

When the dance started, Lark dropped his accent and asked if he found anyone interesting, to which Finas cited only one, namedropping him as Lark. Lark brought the accent back to maintain cover and the two began to talk about what happened. Lark proved his identity with the left ear piercing before they talked about people's reactions to Lark's "death." Finas then asked why he was hiding, and he said he couldn't explain as he was on a mission. Finas cited a story involving a flower shop. As they reminisced, Finas looked at Maya and Edmund with guilt. Lark asked about it, causing FInas to close off. Lark pushed to find out what's been going on. Finas claimed that there was a story that Lark's father never recovered after Lark's death and took a leave of abence after going into a coma. His mother has been caring for him but isn't doing well, but FInas doesn't believe the story. He then says he's made a mistake. 

Session 63

Later, Lark returned to Finas for another dance and Lark revealed that he outed himself to Galdor, observing that Finas' mother was frowning at him. Lark asked about the mistake he mentioned. Finas revealed that he was commissioned to vote on some changes that are about to be announced as Alistair and Edmund sign something. Lark tells Finas that it wasn't his fault and Fin looks as if he's about to cry. 

Session 64

After Edmund's announcement, Lark hastily tried to reach him to talk and took off his mask. Finas tried to stop him, asking if this was really how he wanted to do this, and he confirmed and proceeded. Edmund called for Lark's execution and Finas tried to step in to defend him but backed down when Edmund glared.
